That said, wheat is the prominent grain and is much more noticeable in this whiskey than in Woodford Reserve's other styles. This is wheat whiskey done right. Spicy applesauce and toasted coconut notes enliven an earthy mint and cocoa nibs mix. Finish: Dry, subtle cocoa nibs and apple peel fruit linger on.
