Victorian Diamond & Ruby "Swallow & Olive Branch" Pocket Watch french jet with London hallmarks for 1899DATE: Victorian, c. 1900 A beautiful Swiss pocket watch featuring a gem set swallow with olive branch on the front case within a wonderfully chased orange blossom border. The bird is studded with rose cut diamonds, and the two olives are set with a ruby and a diamond. It's crafted in 14 karat gold, with simple, elegant numerals on the white watch face, and ornate openworked hands. The Swiss hallmarks (two squirrels) indicate it was produced for export
